Application tips & best practices

  1. Clean and dry bonding surfaces thoroughly — remove old adhesive, dirt, grease and contaminants.
  2. Roughen smooth surfaces lightly where recommended to improve mechanical adhesion.
  3. Cut the applicator tip to the preferred bead size and fit the cartridge into a standard caulking gun.
  4. Apply a continuous bead, avoid gaps; for vertical or overhead areas, rely on the non-sag formulation to hold in place.
  5. Allow the recommended cure time before driving (refer to manufacturer cure charts — cure time depends on temperature & humidity).
  6. Clean excess product immediately with recommended solvent before full cure.

Safety & handling

Always follow the manufacturer’s safety data sheet (SDS). General precautions include:

  • Use gloves and eye protection (gloves included in package).
  • Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhalation of fumes.
  • Keep away from open flames and hot surfaces.
  • Store in a cool, dry place and keep cartridge sealed until use.
